Who: Kiniciti is a platform company of Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe (WCAS), the largest private equity firm focused exclusively on the healthcare and technology industries. Kiniciti was established to provide dedicated resources, expertise and capital to help innovative cell and gene therapy companies accelerate the advancement of their products.

What: We gave Kiniciti its name, a derivative combination of "kinetic" and the suffix "-acy" (a suffix tied to "action" or "function") designed to convey the company’s dynamic, active spirit. Kiniciti’s corporate mark was designed to be elegant and simple, with a subtle reference to the DNA strands at the heart of cell and gene therapy the company’s funded entities pursue. A complete visual identity was developed for Kiniciti around the concept of brain teasers and problem solving, with key art illustrating the ideas of motion, connection and scale. The pine green and bold orange color combination gave the company just the right balance of conservative appeal and modern sophistication.
