Who: Allen Industries is a growing, privately held manufacturer of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) tanks used to hold everything from water to cool high-tech data centers to liquids for animal feed to hydrochloric acid for specialty chemical manufacturing.   

What: As it transitioned to new ownership, Allen Industries took on a new identity – both figuratively and literally. We helped craft the latter, developing a fresh brand platform that included visual and written identity elements to merge the spirits of both the founding and new ownership groups. The company’s corporate mark was drawn from a tank's silhouette, featuring lines that convey both the intricacies of threaded fiberglass technology and the diversity of FRP tank’s contents. The texture applied to photographs represents the rough elements the tanks are built to withstand, both inside and out. And the black and crimson-on-fire color palette provided a distinct departure from anything else in the FRP landscape, ideally positioning Allen Industries to plant (and proudly wave) its new can’t-miss brand flag.
